Question Idle actuator TS: where to buy?

Hi,

Hope to find some pointers to a source of supply of a new idle actuator (or is it called adjuster for throttle body?) for a friend of mine.
Having callled literally a dozen sources it seems AR and BOSCH aren't suppplying these anymore.

Mounting a second hand one from the breakers wasn't the solution as well.

So if anyone perhaps went on the same path and found a way out, I'd be happy to hear from it.

It's about a 1.8ts phase 2
Engine code 32.201 (a.o. 156, Spider 916)
BOSCH 3 437 010 455
OEM (Alfa no.): 71713829

Thank you on forehand, cheers!

Many thanks for your effort to find some links.

Second hand item didnít work so far and therefore not ideally.

One of the new ones is advertised out of stock, just as it is over here in NL. It looks like a lot of these webshops lean on the same parent company or int. warehouse. We ordered one supposed to be on stock, wired the money (220 euro) to receive a day later a response that the order would be cancelled as new stock is unknown to arrive. At the same time stating a reverse payment will take them 10 (!) days.

It hard to believe, but Iím afraid that this can become a real issue for still a large fleet of cars existing from the installed base.

Yet, thanks again.

Take the old one apart to see what is actually wrong ... it is likely to be the plastic gear where teeth have been stripped by someone forcing the butterfly open to clean the throttle body ..
