Antifreeze

I've just read this

Car & Motorbike Coolant / Antifreeze Explained

does anyone know if we have any 'yellow' metals in the cooling system of the V6 Busso 24v?

Don't think you have any 'yellow' metals in your cooling system, just use (mono)ethylene glycol (often called long life glycol and are mostly with red color) and it will be fine with the engine.

OAT is good for your engine, much better than a glycol with IAT corrosion inhibitors.

yes, if you never had OAT in there, your cooling system can be 8% more powerful compared to the same with IAT which coates everything. But with OAT it's very important to keep the coolant level full and fix leaks pronto.
