Its a company called AEP in Glasgow. I've been looking for them on the internet and ebay. Haven't phoned them. But I have a bad feeling that they have sold out.

Roofer to keep it simple..for me...you should have added this onto your original thread re light...so are you CF2 or CF3...
If CF2 as Stuart says AEP FARMELOAN RUTHERGLEN GLASGOW.
IF CF3 SEE NIALL.

Niall you should have seen my face when the MOT tester says the battery is in the boot in this one....Hence What do you need the battery for. Still reeling.
It took me 10mins to get it shut after replacing the bulb.
I wonder wahat MPG you get with an empty boot

Need to have a BOOT sale......or a Barn sale.

Pomeo
Ps remember and tell the guy, sorry guy cant recall your name, the parts gut ,your an AO member.....Hell either take a wee bitty off or double it.
Bon chance

Stupid me ..I thought thats a fair drive to Edinburgh for a thermostat.Dundee to Perth...So unless the wee mans been moved it will be the wrong guy.

Im sure the wee stat comes on its own ...I got one from Parks when I got Pomeo and she wouldn't heat up after new radiator..No wonder NO stat.....Cost around 28....I later saw a full bhoona tube n all on ebay...Bought it as a spare Cant recall what I paid but I am sure it was cheaper than the stat alone...Still in the boot .Brand new Alfie part 2.

Its finding it thats the prob.
I also bough a sparey off of steevie but it was a different manufacture.

I still use Perth Arnies for parts - John & Stuart are sound and send the parts down to a Stirling Arnies for me to pick up. I have visited Western and used them to chase up Ti warranty history but not for parts yet.

Re: engine managment light=maf sensor

it was a bolshy wifey i always seemed to get in arnies....she couldn't have been any less helpful when i was trying to get satnav code and was extremely condescending and patronising - needless to say i haven't darkened their door since.

Re: engine managment light=maf sensor

I will say this only once .....But I cant remember the chap's name now BUT I have it on a bit of paper somewhere..,Just hope its not in the boot,But the parts guy in Ayr got me Laceys spring delivered to Glasgow and I picked it up there...So unusual someone in AC who actually helps you...I reckon he was found out and sacked for failing to abide with company policy .Yes that 1 guy was brilliant but to wipe out years of pathetic incompetence sorry. But he was a star.

Nial you should have sent Dougie to Ac and compare prices after negotiation.

Re: engine managment light=maf sensor

hehe - wouldn't surprise me

Just noticed that AC in perth no longer does sales, just "aftersales"....can't imagine they shifted many alfas anyway since they were show horned into the corner of a fiat garage.

should be able to go to a scrappy and get a MAF from any car with the same brand of injection and the same dimension of intake pipe just behind the filter...

Tenman in this politically correct world you could lose your freedom using such an accurate descriptive word like that

They are ,I think according to EU law....Recycle mechanting vendors whose job like superman is to save the planet and reuse the unusable.

Pomeo

Naw they are scrappies and they provide a valuable service..

Nope Mitch ..No gasket...Thats extra.

But a cardboard lid off of a carry out container (Chinese or indian), better with the silver foil, and a pair of scissors ..Hey presto instant gasket.

Sorry Niall when I say wee stat I actually mean the elbow fitting which the hose attaches to and has integral thermostat.

When I get into my boot I'll try to find the 1 stevie sent...for details.

as an aside. I had difficulty fitting a fuse in the holder which does the cigar holder.I blew it when using the Woolies cigar lighter to cigar lighter jump lead thingy.(Stu dont try it get a new battery). The fuses I had just fall out.
A few months back saw a 147 fuse bloc holder c/w fuses and relays...I thought brand new real Alfa fuses not a problem...It arrived wee minature fuses...AARGH.

Well my boy staurt,AKA Jimmy the joiner and Stu the Blu..did my flooring for me yesterday..So being very grateful I says let me see your blown fuse for your Astra....Youll no have a fuse that size ,dont waste your time he says...Me a fuse expert to...You can imagine his wee face when he saw the 147 block with all the wee fuses...
Prelude...He told me he had blown the accessory fuse.....I told him to take it to the garage to get it fixed unde warranty...Found out while driving his car an ejit cut me up I blasted the horn......No sound...When I told him about his horn He says yes Dad I took the fuse out of that so I could get my sat nav to work....AARGH.
So back to yesterday...Puting the fuse in I said are you sure it wont blow again..stupid me coz it hadnt blown the horn fuse...Oh now he says it'll be fine...I says How do you know...Oh his fellow joiner was playing with a plumb bob it went into the cigar lighter socket and ping....I dont kniow how he did it he added...The cigar lighter has a protective cover on it.....
An Jeremy Clarkson thinks motoring is fun...I think its blooming hilarious.

See - Should have stuck to Arnies! Visited the Perth Arnies this morning and got my replacement door check. I spied a nice Bravo Sport Tjet 150 - looks good and could be fun, mrs liked it also - Possible schumi replacement?
