HI Just bought a 2005 GTV 2.0 JTS its a March 05 car so will be 3 years old in March this year, its only done 14000 miles but wondered as its 3 years old does the cam belt need changing or is that just the Twin Spark engines? Cheers!

Yep, you need to change the belt! No exceptions, get it changed! Do a search for cambelt failure, and see how early the belts have failed. Some with 20K miles and 2 years old have failed!!

Yep, the belts and tensioners need replacing after 3 years or 36,000 miles.

I recently had them changed on my 156 at 3 years old even though it had only covered 23,000 miles.
