Re: Introduce yourself.

Work in progress. I know it's not everyones cup of tea & some might think I have ruined a good car but I like car modifications. The trickier the better! I love the 156 shape & the Brera too, so I combined them.

Re: Introduce yourself.

Thanx for the warm welcome guys.

There is something so special about the 156. It's a beautiful body shape, lush interior. The Brera face lift has added to my excitement. The rear will be tricky, bringing the arches out 40mm per side & blending it back into the rear doors. It's lowered to the max on coilover. Front handles are going too! Then, it's getting super straight bodywork, multiple blocking & double clear coating. Finally it will be sanded & polished to perfection!

Sorry guys for the long reply, I just love this car!

Hey, put an entry in the main introduce yourself thread, but figured I might as well do it here too!

Just bought a 156 2.5 V6 SP3 (1998) in silver with red leather. I'll upload some pics soon. I work in computer forensics

Had a Jetta 1.8, Golf mk2, Mazda 6 Sport and now my Alfa!

Look forward to meeting some locals soon

Re: Introduce yourself.

Hi I'm Dave. Got a deposit down on a Phase 2 GTV TS (Silver with the red leather that narrowly avoids looking like something out of Pimp my Ride to manage Alfa awesomeness!) which I'm picking up on Sunday with a bit of luck I grew up in SE Kent but now live in Nottingham - looks like there are a few of us here.

When I have the new car will look forward to the next East Midlands meet

Re: Introduce yourself.

Hey Dave, welcome!

I also have the silver/red leather combo....I think very few cars can get away with it, and it almost certainly has to be an Italian one
