East Midlands...

Have there ever been any small meet's at any pubs etc near Nottingham/Derbyshire? Would love to meet up with people, but these small meetings are often too far away...

Re: East Midlands...

The regular AROC meeting is held on the 2nd tuesday of the month at The Quorndon Fox, Loughborough Road, LE12 8DX

Its a well attended meeting and this months event will be no exception, everyone is welcome, both AROC & non AROC members (although non members will be marked with a black cross on their foreheads for easy identification and ridicule!! )

We have a large dedicated parking area there are normally 30ish Alfas there.

p.s the food is great

See details below

13 June: Section Fun Concorso d'Eleganza Night
at The Quorndon Fox, High Street, Quorn - starting at 7pm.
All Alfas are entered for this light-hearted event, with a host of prizes generously sponsored by IntaServices and Engine Services. Everyone there gets to vote, in categories from shiniest paint to most worn-out tyres!
The Quorndon Fox, our new monthly venue, is easily found off the A6 between Leicester and Loughborough, just follow signs for 'Quorn'. The Quorndon Fox is a large pub set back from the road.
ANOTHER GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO COME ALONG IF YOU'VE NOT BEEN BEFORE! You'll be made very welcome.

Re: East Midlands...

Just like to say two things about the June Meeting :

1. A *BIG* thanks to everyone who made me and my (little) co-driver so welcome on the night. Although it was raining we still had a great time and I'll certainly try to pop along on a more regular basis.

2. If you live in the area - come along next time!

Thanks!

Bob

Well Happy Re: East Midlands...

SO wished I could've come & brought my 33 P4 along

Will definately make sure I'm not working next time...were there some nice cars there? Who attended? Look forward to seeing the pictures!

At least next time my car might be more 'healthy'...

Will be good to meet you all in person...

Re: East Midlands...

Well bugger me. I've been on here for a couple of months now whilst awaiting delivery of my first Alfa and never knew about this....and I live 5 mins walk from the pub!!
All being well I'll be there on the 2nd Tues in Sept, as the GT arrives on the first.

.ps not convinced about the comments re the food. Last time I was there we sent it all back. Still, it's a good location, and if your not driving the beer's good and cold. Wonder if I could get done for pushing the car home?

Wednesday we don't sing at the Cathedral so if the 146ti hasn't thrown a belt (lol) by then might toodle along for a nosey. Sounds like fun.
Cheers Glenn
