I'm let to believe that something or other is going on next Friday and we all have a day off work.

As I feel I'm not the only one who don't want to sit watching telly all day, I think a tootle somewhere to do something might be nice.

So the winning tootle is Foxton Locks. (Don't worry folks, we'll do Trentham another day.)

http://foxtonlocks.com/
We can have a mooch about and then get some refreshments in the nearby pub.

I propose that we meet at Donington Services @ 10:00.

Phil (thebrindo) has assisted with a route which I'll hand out at the initial rendezvous.

There are some cracking roads around the area so we should have some fun.

Not been to Foxton.
Been to Trentham.
But I don't mind either option.

Complete opposite to rammy.

Done foxton, never been to Trentham.

My vote is Trentham though as it looks a bit more family friendly (I.e. bit more to keep wife and child amused)

Ultimately don't mind either though.

Was thinking of a 09:00 start.....then lunch at whichever location we choose.
What's your preference Jill? I see it as currently 2-1 for Trentham.......

All looking good folks. I'll close the voting on Tuesday evening.

As both destinations appear to be popular, I'll plan another event for whichever location loses out this time.

Well, with the obligatory standing in car parks, I think We'll be at the pub around 12:00 noon.

Here's the route I've got planned.

Route

Google maps thinks it'll cost 12.18 in fuel.

Can't think of a better way to get from one side of Leicester to the other, particularly as you don't actually have to go through Leicester ;-)
