Martin did mention that nothing came of the remap idea so I think he is still keen

Had my new Blackline 1.9JTDm remapped at AFH1 this morning and it is now very quick with just the slighest touch of the throttle and with what seems like zero turbo lag. If you are thinking of having it done then don't delay. It's the only upgrade a diesel Alfa needs. Very happy

Graham, a big thanks first of all for bringing AFH1 to my attention! I live in Notts and before I read your posts was considering the mods on offer by Mangos.

Is your Blackline still in warranty? My biggest concern is ensuring the warranty isn't affected by the mods.

Cheers

Martin at AFH1 is a very good technician - if I lived in the area I would use him for work over any of the local competition.

we certainly are, i've spent over 2 grand on my GTV in the last 2/3 weeks, Lewis actually worked over the weekend including most of Sunday to get it running for me again after it spectacularly blew out the head gasket for some reason friday afternoon, nothing left around cylinders 1 and 2 part of it actually went into the cylinder and came out through the valve

I have experienced both Martin and Lewis' work in the past few years and would second Pud that we are spoilt for choice in the East Mids

They've probably melted at the back - common fault on the GTVs. Its only 2 cross head screws to get them out if you want to check them.
