Hi there fellow nottingham boys

Hi all! Glad to join the alfa romeo crowd.
Need some help and advice on the situation im in atm.

posted my thread on https://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/alfa-...need-help.html

-------------
Recently purchased a second hand 147 collezione 1.6 petrol '07 which has done around 15k miles. However it missed its first service of 12k i think. Does it affect the 3 year warranty (it is 3 years isn't it?) it has?

Also, what sort of stuff should I get checked on the first service. Its my first car and I'm not really an expert on cars so advice from pros out there would be good. I called up Chris Variava which is a alfa dealer in nottingham and they're quoting around 260pounds which is crazily expensive! Can I do it at a garage, will it be cheaper, what are the pros/cons and will i get a chop on the service?

If I could get it done cheaper at a grage nearby, does anyone know of or can recommend one?

Cheers
Adrian
