Re: Specialists in Derbyshire / Staffs

I have never been myself but I hear the people to talk to in our region are Alfa Technico up near junction 28 M1.

It might be a little out of town but I've only heard good things and will be bringing mine to them for a full cambelt service in March.

Yeah, I'll vouch for Lewis @ Alfatecnico!

Great service, knows his stuff, and doesn't mind me calling up and asking him questions about my car!

there is a alfa specialist along Mansfield Rd Derby not far from Beechdale alfa ,as you turn right off Sir Frank Whittle Rd onto mansfield rd ,Beechdale on your left road bears right carry on up that road and alfa place on right ,i dont know what they are called but i know Hilton garage used them for us when had airbag light prob and needed to borrow a tool to lock cams when replacing belts . hope this helps ,i,m from Stretton nr Burton so if you use them it would be handy to know how you got on .

Re: Specialists in Derbyshire / Staffs

Isn't there someone called Peak Alfa or something like that based in Derbyshire? A bloke who's GTV I once test drove used them and said they were very good. He said they raced GTV's so know the GTV inside out

I personally use Alfatecnico mentioned above. 10 out of 10 and worth the extra mileage to use them

Re: Specialists in Derbyshire / Staffs

Yeah that thing sounds unreal. Saw it at Rockingham and was amazing although pretty much on a par with an old GTV V6 clearly having been rather heavily breathed on. Wonder how much their full 90odd thousand mile cambelt service is as it's a similar distance...

How's your GTA since all the problems you had? Did you get some money back from that garage in Long Eaton?
