Re: Plank and leggit July 1st

The way we've spread the word in the past is start small even if you only get three or four together have a beer a chat and take a few pictures to post on line

You'd be surprsed how many lurkers come out of the wood work when Meeting pictures are posted.

I can help with the picture threads etc after the meet.

We started in the NW with 4 members at the first meet we're now regularly holding multi region meets up here with 20/30 members attending

Re: Plank and leggit July 1st

Well, I think we did 8pm last time, just because 7:30 seemed to be too early for some people. So I guess 8 is good?

Re: Plank and leggit July 1st

I think last time we went for 8pm as foxracer said above. Before there was a 7:30 meet but was a bit of a washout. 8 is good for me, I only live 25 ish mins away so can manage 7:30 but 8 is bit better.

Re: Plank and leggit July 1st

I generally think of a good layer of dirt as excellent corrosion protection

Re: Plank and leggit July 1st

I'm not so sure... my parent's had a G reg Astra which we *never* washed in 8 years, constantly caked in crap. Washed it when went to part-ex for a new car and the dealer said he had never seen one is such good condition... Sure it helped that the paintwork had never seen the sun so was factory bright. No word of a lie
