Hi people,
Picked up my red v6 brera about a month ago, I live near Norwich and work there so I'm always driving about. Give me a wave if you see me!

Fine....but as there's lots of Alfas around Norwich, and some drivers wonder why you've waved to them, what route do you drive/how does one recognise you?

Nice to see you join our forum.

I live close to Yarmouth and have a silver Brera on my drive at the moment. I am often in Norwich and North Walsham with my 159 so will keep a look out for you. If you need any mechanical help or advice, send me a personal massage.

Iv already been into alfashop a couple of times. Had it serviced by you guys back in October time when I first got it, and then came back to have the power steering reservoir replaced too. Not sure on the names of the guys I dealt with but may have been you!

Hi Enzo,

I'll keep a look out for you, I live off Sprowston Road myself so the chances of seeing you should be quite high from what you've said

I'll be a new owner in the next few days too, counting down the days until I pick up my Giulietta!

Hopefully see you about

Gemma

Hi gem, you will have to give me a flash & a wave if you see me, iv given up waving to guiliettas cos most owners don't seem to be the usual 'enthusiasts'!

Sparto it may well have been, iv been off work the last week so can't remember what days iv been in the city! I did pass another red brera identical to mine in Coltishall the other day though so I may have a twin about!

Oh and what colour/spec giulietta? I really love them in white, been keeping my eye out for a cloverleaf one to come up cheap!

Thanks guys

Well Enzo, you are in luck, I've bought a 14 plate ghiacco white Collezione depending on how long it takes to change over my reg will either end LGO, or GEM (couldn't resist getting a poncy plate! ). I've ordered an Alfa Owner sticker for the window too. So, hopefully you'll spot me.

I'm hoping to attend one of the Alfa events if there's an East Anglian one coming up soon, I'll keep a look out.

There is a white Cloverleaf at the Norwich dealership, I nearly bought it myself!

[email protected], not sure if it's cheeky to ask, but can you guys retrofit a port for the TomTom satnav in the top glovebox, and what would be a rough guesstimate of price if you can?

No its not cheeky at all. I am sorry to say we do not carry out ICE upgrades.
You really need a ICE specialist, such as Norwich In Car Entertainment (NICE).
Will look out for you and give a wave, either in an Alfashop van, very dark blue 156 or a light blue GTA Sportwagon.

That's not fair, I want a white one, and I want a private plate I did see the cloverleaf at Desira (I had a look for them after writing on here lol) they are still a bit out of my price range though!
We definitely need to get an east anglia meet sorted soon, people keep saying about it but it never happens!
I know someone who does a bit of work for NICE they are very good!

Brilliant, thanks guys, I'll check NICE out.

Private plates don't have to be as expensive as you think. I managed to find one on the DVLA site for 400. I did compromise a little, as I wanted to get AR14 GEM (I wonder what the AR stands for?!), but that was double the dosh.

Yes, a meet would be great. I think I am going to love my G, so it would be nice to get to know other Alfa owners.

One more sleep, less than 24 hours and I get my mitts on my beautiful new Alfa! To say I am excited is an understatement!

Red Alfa Spider parked outside Filby Post Office this morning with the top down, and it wasn't mine. Are you local or even on this forum?

Yeah I have seen a private plate I like for 250quid but just not had the spare cash recently. Now the weather's better I can start using my vespa to commute and save somepetrol money again so if you see someone on a scooter waving madly at you that's me too! Lol!

Have you got it now? Are you loving it?

Haha! Thanks for letting me know! I've stuck my Alfa Owner sticker on (the only sticker I'm allowing on my beautiful beast), so people know I am up for a wave!

I am LOVING her! Had a slight issue with a mark, but I cannot fault the local dealer, they've been great. I had a cyclist come past shouting "nice car!" which made my day, and she seems to get a lot of looks. I'm still getting to know her, there's so much to learn. I keep looking out the window in disbelief I own her!
