Delighted to be owning an Alfa. Delighted also to try and make sure the owners of other Alfas around me know about the community that's there and feels the same way

Thanks Jilly and Vince

Thanks everyone and a very big thank you to Jilly and Vince, I'm really happy to be part of the 'Alfa community' and I completely agree with Greg .

Its a car that I really enjoy driving, I only wish I had discovered the driving experience of an Alfa many years ago.

I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone

Great to see that the region finally has more than just one rep to cover the massive area.
Good luck to all of you.

Don't forget there's a lot of Alfas in dear old (dreary?) Norfolk...........bit of a flurry a couple of years ago but looks as though most activity has migrated South and West.

Hello Carrotsucker,

I have lots of ideas for 2012 and meeting up with jillyflower and the others soon. (Watch this space). I used to organinse events when I used to have another marque.

Dont worry Norfolk is vast and has plenty to offer for events and stuff. Good to know that there is other enthusiastic alfa owners out there in Norfolk.

Get in touch

Sean

Hi Sean,
Sounds good news but "the proof of the pudding is in the eating" and it's all been quiet in this area for some time. Norfolk is indeed vast but not all populated by pheasants and bunny rabbits................AROC East Anglia seems to have also migrated South and West but it's last reincarnation started well.

Hi Freddie

Come along and join in...I know it's been VERY quiet in East Anglia, not for the want of trying tho

We hope to get lots of people to join in with meets in the coming years and would welcome any ideas or plans that you might have to keep AOEA going

Hi Sean,

Obviously insufficient people in local areas to run specific events (other than meets: good spot just off Norwich Southern Bypass at Village Inn, Little Melton - superb carvery for 3.89 and bags of parking space) but other clubs run events which could offer joint participation. I do recall meets at Sheringham which were quite well attended in spite of the 'remoteness' for most people. It's maybe the old general club problem - no events and people lose interest and drift off elsewhere, Freddie.

Well I hope you don't lose interest Freddie Keep coming up with possible locations and any 'local' events......we'll look at anything that people in the region feel are worth doing

Whilst I know it's a huge area and I'm in north Cambs I have a number of events planned for this year.....keep watching the events lounge
