The first meet of 2012 for East Anglia's furthest north outreach post

This is a lovely cafe in Ferry Meadows Country Park, open 365 days a year according to Charlotte and Jodie who run it. Anyone fancying some form of exercise after ....is welcome; should be OK for a well wrapped up walk but it's good for running () cycling, sailing, etc and there are play areas for the kids too!

There will be the usual breakfast components to be had but I will call in to have a chat about some sort of a deal for a full monty type brekky, meat or veg. I'll ask them to put a menu together so I can give you an idea of costs too and post it up at a later date.

Be good to see lots of folk at this Lets say 10 a.m in the car park for the watersports Lakeside cafe.

Here's the website for the Country Park, click on the 'menu' on the left hand side to see just what it offers

See you there

Ha...other than the 'rescue' craft , NO motorised craft are allowed on the lake

I could, however, stick a rocket somewhere and be propelled across

Sadly not Kris but there are some decent looking ones on there. Seems like about £1000 - 1500 will get you a nicely sorted one.

Mr JF and I popped down to sort out next Sunday's brekkie -(the 29th)

The folk there are really nice and helpful, one of the guys even offered to hold our car keys for us.....apparently he loves Alfa's .....I said we'd think about it

So the deal is full english AND a drink for £6. There will be a table set up for us and they will do table service so we don't even have to queue up If you want anything else off the menu then you will have to pay the menu price...but that seems fair to me

They did ask me to make sure everyone brings real money or a cheque book as they don't have a card machine.

I saw a guy with a bacon baguette....I nearly stole it off him It looked damned good om nom nom.

I'll be giving them (hopefully) firm numbers next Saturday so nows the time to ADD YOUR NAMES

Really wish I could make it.

Sadly it's confirmed that I have to be in Horncastle, same day, same time.

Sure it will all go well. Who's going to save me a Veggie Sausage Butty, without the butter ?
