Don't think I don't know what you are up to ElvisIsFrenchTatObsessed

This screams 'Gateway car', attempt to lure folks in with swoopy lines then lumbering them with rusty bodywork, ropey electrics and weedy asthmatic engines. Well it's not working, ya hear me! Non! No! Uncool!

Meh.

Doesn't really do it for me. Lines aren't quite swoopy enough and it's French.

Turning French I think I'm turning French

I thought, here goes my chance to slate the French...
Beauty. Super bloomin cool. How is it the French could produce this stuff and then **** like the DS, GS and CX etc? Mind boggles.

With that, dear friends, I think my work here is now done.

It's been a wonderful ride.

Steady now don't be too confident. I've been ill and cured before. I owned a Renault 19 many years ago. Yes a Renault. I was cured and sent the little tike off to the great scrapheap in the clouds but I did own it and for about 2 or years at least

I had a Renault 11 TXE Electronique. It had an electronic dash and voice synthesiser. It wasn't tacky at all.

I still think it's a nice looking car. I'd be tempted by an 11 Turbo now.

Absolutely wicked. What a beautiful looking car. A lot of people associate Simca with the late 70s early 80s pile of manure, when they were taken over by Talbot and, latterly, Peugeot.
