Uncool.

Never liked the styling, to me they looked dated even when new. The Engine was ok, but many suffered top end issues due to a design fault and the suspension made them comfy but they were not involving to drive.

I had a drive in one before I bought my 3.0 V6 Alfa 164.

I definitely made the right choice.

No mention of the Perspex weatherscreen behind the rear seat to make up for it being a hatchback.

I wish I could say cool but it just isn't ! Cheese wedge styling and dodgy Citroen suspension and 'lectrics. Some things time just cannot heal.

Uncool

looks like a cross between the worst ever Rover and a Vauxhall Chevette.

Seriously Mingin'

( sorry)

EDIT:
Actually the interior looks quite cool, in a space 1999 Ed Straker kind of way........

C'est tat Francaise, n'est pa?

When I was a young and impressionable nipper our branch manager had an R21 turbo. He was in a senior position, managing a very successful branch earning lots of money. The R21 was due for replacement and he could have 'anything! Literally anything!' that he wanted.

He bought H609 XMR, a sleek black pile of ^^^^ tat. A few brief years later and he was a washed up heavy-drinker.

Unrelated? I don't think so.

EDIT: Chris, Ed was in UFO, not Space 1999

I quite like the styling, and I like the idea of a big soft French luxo-barge, but that somehow doesn't quite do it for me.

Uncool.

The cousin of this, the Peugeot 605 was a much nicer car.

Mainly because it looked similar to the Alfa 164

Also at the time Peugeot still had a good repuation after the sucess of the 205, 309 and 405

I don't think a comment good or bad is required. A few have said what I think anyway.
