Ginetta G40R

Good old British niche car maker has made a light, punchy engined track weapon. But is it cool?

There's a distinctly 70s kitcar look to it from the A-pillars back. It looks messy. Uncool.

Never be sub-zero, but I really like these, infact I would buy one because they are different. Cool from me.

Not bad price either... a bit hardcore on the inside tho, definitely a track day car rather than an everyday car

I wouldn't mind. As long as I have air conditioning, a boot to put stuff in and I can read a map. I panicked when I discovered the 147 regulates its own air con system. Good, reliable Ford engines too that are not caned for every last bit of power.

It looks and sounds like fun and good value. As kb says, it's a half step up from a kit car which isn't a killer in itself but it doesn't help. The styling is interesting but awkward. It's GRP so I suppose it will smell of P.

Uncool.

Yep, always thought it was trying to be a kitcar/TVR cross. The fact I don't like though is irrelevant, it's not cool.
