Hennessey Velociraptor

Mad and outlandish Ford F150 pickup tweaked by Hennessey featuring a 6.2 supercharged V8
Punching out over 600bhp and an evil soundtrack, it appears to be rather capable off road too

You have a choice of pickups (hypothetically) this, or a Nissan Navara

I rest my case. And I despise 99% of everything American

The train :(

I voted uncool, if I am going to have a 4 x 4 with a V8, it will be a Landrover.

If I lived in a massive country, with straight wide roads, and lots of tracks and mountains to climb, I'd think this was sub-zero. In the UK it wouldn't work at all because our roads are too narrow and if you tried to venture up a mountain in it, someone would call Greenpeace, Friends of the Earth, the National Trust and the Daily Mail and you'd probably get shot.

Cool in the context of America. Uncool in Europe.

How much bigger than a Hi-Lux is it, in reality?

For that matter, buses and the like seem to manage in the UK.

I voted uncool. It's too big and brash for my tastes but I love the idea of that V8. I'd probably feel a lot different in the good ol' U S of A where ginormous pickups are the norm.

MrsJim was totally with it on TG. She'd happily swap paint with all sorts of Rangies and ML's over here....and Transits and trucks trying to muscle into her space. She's a very aggressive driver!

It's 86" wide apparently. Range Rover say the new Rangey is 86" wide too. However the RR measurement includes door mirrors whereas the Ford measurement doesn't. A Hilux is a measly 72" wide.

They just get knocked off so why include them?

On the basis that 600BHP is for goddamn commies, Shelby have now produced a Raptor with over 700BHP. Apparently it has a whipple supercharger which sounds more Charlie and the chocolate factory factory than Carroll Shelby.

If I was going to have a truck, it would have a 7.3 powerstroke diesel in it. 600 lb ft reasonably easily, 900 with a bit of effort. All at 2500 rpm.
