It's not cool, especially the long wheel base version.

Space, Grace, and a bit of Pace, so pretty much ideal for my time of life? Old Mans carriage. :

I need to think a bit more before I vote.

It's a subtle, understated bruiser which is cool. Jag has a bit of "pipe and slippers" image which hangs heavily around these older models which is uncool.

CRV/Jaaag

Sub-zero. I have been a passenger in a slightly tweaked one and it was a deeply moving experience. It's a rocket ship loaded with leather and wood. It changes direction like a whippet, and sticks like glue, get glides over bumps. It does all of this whilst remaining lovely and restrained to look at.

Obviously a man of great taste KB

I actually owned a 'tweeked' one. The 'tweek' gave it 400bhp and over 400lbft. As you say, they are like a rocket ship but they also handle (with the CATS adaptive suspension) surprisingly well.

I'd love to have another one

They had one in the factory reception in a pearlescent racing green earlier in the year when I visited. It looked epic.

Still undecided. I saw a ropey old smoker this morning, funnily enough. Barely north of shed-dom. It didn't help its cause.

I want it to be cool and that is holding me back. I have a nagging voice in my head saying it isn't.

A thousand years ago my Mum and Dad went to look at a house. The vendor had a Jaaaaag, it cost him £400 (the Maxi was a couple of grand! ) it was a shed he was gonna fix. Apart from the paint job it is pretty much what you see in the OP.

Don't take the whizz out of a 911 unless you are prepared to admit that the Jag ain't changed in 35(?) years.

Don't like the 911 either.

Uncool.

It was an 'M' reg, so '74, so 40+ years
