The first picture, with what looks like a massively domed roof and a driver who can barely see over the dash, isn't helping.

It also sounds like a secondary school geography teacher.

The front end has a Peugeotesque quality to it

Despite that it is a good looking car, I'm jumping off this splinter riddled fence and saying cool !

Cool. Designed by the master and separated at birth from the equally brilliant Iso Rivolta. Good looking, V8, British, rare. What's not to like.

Quirky so therefore cool. There it is. Off the fence at last but must take a lie down after all that deliberation

I think that's pretty cool.

Does anyone else always answer these threads but never get around to voting? Or is that just me?

Always fancied one, though the interior is a bit naff. That centre console looks like it's made out of plywood and covered in Fablon in true Blue Peter style .

I've voted and find myself out of step with most. Truly, I never quite got the appeal of these glorified kit cars with PVC (really) quilt interiors. Pretentious schiite. Pretty quick to be fair but that is irrelevant.

Uncool.

i like it. cool.

always kind of compared these to a Bristol, [but i don't think they are cool, especially since Liam Gallagher of Oasis bought one - when the plank didn't even have a driving licence!]

I'd never seen one of these cars until now, but given that the first photo made me laugh (even before Keithy pointed out the driver), I'm giving it uncool.
It's the overly-angry face (Triumph Vitesse headlights?) that's the problem. That and the rarity.

It does look a bit "ranty". Probably why I kinda like it.

The Peugeot 504 front was designed at Pininfarina by Aldo Brovarone who did the Lancia Gamma coupe and the original Dino concept . He may have been influenced by the slant on the lamps of this ?

I think the design featured on a couple, or more, American cars in the late 50's? Rolls used it on their Mulliner Park Ward "ChineseEyes" around the same time this came out. It was probably an attempt to appeal to the US market and get another couple of years out of an already old model. It probably pre-dated the GK by a couple of years.
