Well over 300 horses. Looks like it wants to smash your face in.

Perfect.

SiF, you have solved a puzzle for me -

about six months ago, I saw one of those on a low loader coming the other way, and my mate's eye's lit up (first time he'd seen one); for the life of me, I couldn't remember what it was because my knowledge of American cars is limited; I knew it had a watery-based name but couldn't place it at all.

Anyway, I love it. There is something a tad menacing about it though; I don't think I'd accept a lift in one unless I knew the driver very well

A driver is always faithful to a car that's always faithful to its driver.

Sometimes in the darkest hour, love comes shining through.
Then it doesn't seem so far from me to you.

Corgi cars. I had at least three of these and they were absolutely my favourites with their lights you could flick on/off by putting your finger across the rear screen.

Maybe because of that childhood love I still can't see any threat or overt aggression in it. It just has strong, confident lines to my 8 year old eyes.

It's not quite got enough to take it into sub zero territory but if you can't see the cool in this car you're blind.

Me too. IIRC it was pale metallic blue. It reflected ambient light through the front glass down to the headlights or something like that.
I have a Luigi Fiat 500 out of a cornflake box on my desk at work that does similar.
