1961-64 Chevrolet Impala

This particular generation of Impala was immensely successful in many respects. The range offered small and big block options with the 409ci version providing major league stonk. The Beach Boys were saving their pennies and dimes The Beach Boys - 409 - YouTube

The photos show a number of '61, a '62, and some '63s too.

All big cars in our terms, but I think they are remarkably dainty for such utter tanks.

Definitely cool. Pillarless windows, elegant and restrained by US standards, plenty of engine.

I'll take a '64 in black on 17" Torq Thrust IIs with air ride plz.

Why has America lost its mojo? Their cars were cool and the Europeans were still influenced by them at the time.

Cool with the capacity to nudge sub zero in the right retro mod spec and colour.
