TVR Chimaera

Blackpool cruiser, curvaceous looks, thunderous soundtrack. Whats not to like?

Nowhere near as pretty as the Griffith. Looks vaguely reminiscent of that tarted up MGB they flogged briefly in the early 90s. Just about cool because of the soundtrack.

I don't care it ain't pretty. To me this is the one I'd have.
It's ridiculous.
It's dangerous/deadly.
It's a ragtop.

Just about cool. As said, soundtrack and lethal make a compelling case for it.

I think TVRs are cool to petrolheads. I would have one tomorrow if I could get away with it.

But I'm not sure whether they're cool to non petrolheads.

I think they just about sneak it by virtue of having no roof. You and I know it's a snorty deathtrap but to the more casual observer it's a nice place to be when the sun shines.

Perhaps SIF would prefer it in hearing aid beige
Probably my least favourite production TVR but it is a TVR so, for me, that makes it cool.

It's named after a Trevor.

It's not heroic.

TVRs have dials like they've been made by girls.

Needs to be a V8 to be a 'proper' wedge but I would have one of those over a Chim any day of the week.

But they don't have those amazing swoopy interiors that the later cars had.

This is true. But the ones with V8s had V8s and were apparently very good for doing donuts in.

Man I want a V8. The one in Jenny's S4 doesn't count because it's very disappointing aurally.
