So... The Visa GTI. Didn't really cut it as a hot hatch at the time. Fairly useful in class rallying but never ripped up any trees. Stylistically challenged then and now. It has to be uncool.
There's a smidgen of cool about one being used in a historic rallying context just because it's a bit unusual but overall it has to be uncool.
Nostalgia isn't what it used to be.
