Absolutely sub-zero. An actual proper bona fide hot rod straight out of the factory.

It had steel wheels from the factory. To put it in perspective, you bought it from a Ford dealer and straight out of the box it ran quarter mile times that modern supercars have only recently matched.

Sub zero. I don't like the bulge but it's there for a reason. And what a reason!

The bulge is needed because otherwise the mahoosive engine and intake would stop the bonnet closing. It is 100% functional. The engine is the 427ci one from the bigger Galaxie with a pair of Holley carbs on top, then a filter box fed by ducting from where the inner headlamps used to be.

To be fair, unless you've got some really serious firepower under the bonnet, all you'll see is its tail lights anyway.

Until the first corner at which point he will see you go by . You've no doubt seen Cars where for the first time on dirt he misses the corner

Very true but it wasn't built to go round corners, it was built so that you could stroll into your dealer, hand over a few dollars, then go down to the strip and be a super stock drag racing champion.
