If it was one of your mates, it would be the shortarse who always gets you into fights.

Uncool but a good laugh.

Old mate of mine: "Had a lift in a friend's Uno turbo yesterday, it's like going down a country road at 120 with nothing in front of you but a kitchen table."

Murderous motors are cool

Definitely cool, as it's an unpretentious little pocket rocket. Lovely clean lines, and they were real game changers at the time in respect of the packaging.
I remember my dad looking for a new car in 1986, he looked at a Peugeot 205 also, but they really "felt" like a small car. I liked his Uno so much that in 1989 I purchased one also. Neither of us had a Turbo though, we both had a 1100cc 60s his was a 5 door and mine was a 3 door. After 11 years my dads Uno was virtually scrap (rotten) there are more 205's on the roads today I reckon.

Running report for: Type 937 Gt 3.2 V6

For those that think it's not cool (which it IS) If you had driven my Radbourne Water injected version back in the day, you'd think again. Motor Magazine road test 50-70 in third faster than a Testarossa.!

I'm surprised it rotted they were about 75% galvanised, I never had any rust on mine in the four years I had her.

The Mrs kept her great little Uno for 10 years and sold it to a mate of mine who kept it for 2 more years.
He took the back seats out to put his sons quad bike in it then scrapped it.
The only rust on it was bubbling around the petrol cap.
Part of me wishes we had kept it.
