Koenigsegg Agera One:1

Only 7 are to be made and all are sold already. A mega variant of an already powerful car. Named 'One:1' because it produces 1360bhp and weighs 1360kg thanks to its 5.0 twin turbo V8 and all carbon fibre construction, it has an alleged top speed of 280mph

Seriously exciting, seriously uncool. Utterly pointless, almost glorified kit car (possibly harsh).

They can't even come up with a clever name for it. "Oh yeah, I drive a One:1." ....."no, not a 1-1 that's a football score"....."no, not a onesy"....."really, it isn't that hard it's a One:1 ...no, not II that's two in Latin....oh FFS have you seen the one metre long key fob? Has to be that long to get the name Koenigsfriedeggs on"

Oh and it's ludicrously expensive.

And if I spy one of those *whispers* "things" on the rear end you know kb will be along and he won't be happy......

Oh yeah, and it's lairy-looking and ugly.

Nostalgia isn't what it used to be.

Hideous pointless seriously uncool carp.

As a rule of thumb I reckon the smaller the 'limited edition' the rubbisher the car.

It's about as much use as a Saturn V rocket.

In those heady moments when I delude myself into thinking "one day my Euro millions rollover" will come in, I never ever think I'd want something like this. Admittedly that has rock all to do with coolness but in my sad way it's a measure of its lack of desirability.

With that kind of wealth I'd go and buy a seriously ballsy fun car like an Atom 3.5R, Caterham 620R or some such Banzai nonsense and get a proper GT for the real world.

I think its cool but i would never buy one. Imagine if you turn up to a party in one of these. All your mates would get excited

Office Chair.

As said if my numbers came up (and I'd have to be doing the lottery first) then I would not even think about one. It's a different choice (and a bit more expensive?) to the typical Ferrari/Lamborghini/Porsche so to me for that it's one up so therefore just uncool.

I'm not sure. It might depend on the age of your mates. I know most of mine would think "knob" however old I might be. It would have been the same had I been 20 years younger.

Had I turned up in a 60's, 70's....maybe even 80's Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, AC, Porker, Aston etc, potentially though not necessarily at a fraction of the price and they'd almost certainly be all over it and genuinely happy to see it.

Surely a car that makes other people happy to be around and pleased for you to enjoy has to be cooler than a todger-tastic, wallet waver?

I can sort of see the point of a BFO diffuser on that more than I can on a hot hatch. However, that doesn't stop it being a massively ridiculous, pointless, expensive waste of space.

You're right, it is. I thought it was firmly in 'uncool', but then after I voted, I saw this bit:

Minus one full grade, seriously uncool!

Take one fast car, cover it in superglue and drive it through your local purveyor of chav tat car 'styling' and you end up with the above.

Awesome bit of kit.

Cool for me, and probably sub zero.

Absolutely pointless = could be cool / Sub Z.

Carbon fiber and 280 mph = sub Zero, but no proven speed yet,

1360 bhp for 1360kg is even more bhp than the 63 tonns Challenger II tank = ridiculous,

The model name is like a 1:1 scale kit car = uncool,

Looks like Toyota designed in the 1990’es = hideously uncool,

Swedish = seriously uncool.
