Lancia Delta S4 Stradale

Road going version of the Group B monster. Do we really need four choices in this poll?

I think it's fugly. I guess to some it is cool. I can't actually pigeon hole it so I won't.

What's that rear off on the yellow car in the top pic?

I see a yellow car too.

The subject is ugly and, I bet, noisy, hot, uncomfortable and temperamental. The interior is minging with seat coverings that look like bathmats and a gear lever gaiter made from an old wellington boot.

I'd love a go in one but race cars for the road are generally a bit silly. Uncool but that probably doesn't matter in this case.

I'm guessing it's the 2013 Lotus esprit concept.

What are we voting on, the plastic red shed or the cool looking yellow polish motor

Bigfoot's 'kill the cool wall' campaign continues apace

The Lotus looks fab and I'm sure is fab but that for certain is not cool.

The Lancia is cool, but it loses one full grade for being an unobtainable / undriveable museum piece. Uncool.
Sorry, I don't make the rules! Oh wait.. yes I do.

We're seeing the advertising picture for the website which hosts the picture BF tried to link, because they've set it like that to discourage hotlinking.

So what you are saying is BF has a wooden leg, a parrot, dangly earrings and goes "Yo Ho Ho!" a lot?

Tough. It is indeed butt ugly and I continue to overrule Ben's rule about low volume/rarity as it is irrelevant to coolness - either for or against IMHO which is all that counts.

I really don't like it and would far prefer an ordinary EVO2 or an ex works one in full Group B battle dress, or cooler still an 037 ( Gaz), but I think it is actually a bit cool in an odd, can't-quite- put-my-finger-on-it sort of way.

Maybe because it's one of the ultimate homologation specials and as such it is utterly bonkers, cost too much, was relatively impractical and not particularly usable as a daily driver.

Cool.

Differing opinions are cool. I did say it was a hard call and I ended with "a bit cool" so could be persuaded otherwise. I suspect I was worried that its rather ugly aesthetics were swaying me too much towards uncool and gave it more teh benefit of the doubt for its other values.

I could sense your prevarication, that's why I went for the kill

From the side it looks like a Matra Simca Rancho that got taken from behind by a Pacer

I usually like that sort of stuff (and the Integrale is as) but there are just so many odd lines to it (and yes, I know looks don't make it cool)

Gaz is correct again.

The 037 might have only been RWD but it was a stunner. The S4 looks like a box with extra boxes added.
