When I was a child I had an i-spy book of cars. Mostly it was full of Cortinas, Morris Minors, and Austin 1100s. However, the Fiat 130 Coupe was also in there and it made a lasting impression.

One of the most stunningly lovely, clean looking cars of its time. A styling masterclass by Pininfarina.

This is unequivocably at the cold end of sub-zero.

I sold my silver one 7 years ago. I miss it.

Maybe not the most involving drive but without doubt the most elegant car I have ever seen.

Sub zero

euro-chic, elegant and graceful. Looks expensive, high-end, sophisticated, well-bred...exotic, even.

Deffo sub-cool for me.

I do miss some of the 70s straight edges. I saw a Granada Ghia 2.8i (think Cowley from The Professionals) recently and its simple three box shape and crisp proportions looked wonderful; in its time, its ubiquity probably diluted its appeal. I know the 70s were considered a bit naff, but some cars of that time were gems lost amid the dross. Pity, that

Cowley's pre-dated the i part I think.

We never got 2-door mkiis but the lines never worked for me. The roofline was just a tad too high so the proportions were slightly off. The 130 I can find no fault with whatsoever.

A Rolls Royce Camargue at a fraction of the price and build quality.

Very stylish car and certainly cool.

a bit 'slabby' but in an acceptable 70's way.... not too brilliant in my eyes..

Amazingly simple and beautiful looking. I stumbled across one years ago, with a full length Webasto, but it was too far gone
I'd love one, just don't tell the Sprint, Spider or 146..........
