I think it would have been sub-zero, but for the guest appearance on Wayne's Wardrobe Miami Vice

Despite that.

I have a pic of a Le Mans racer at the Ferrari factory...it made me tingle more than anything else there....slightly to my surprise.

Cool as.

I think rule 2 was that if it's from the 60s it'll have to try really hard to be uncool.

The one on Miami Vice was a replica. Built by an outfit called McBurnie and based on a 1980 Corvette (not exactly a vintage year in that it was moderately ugly (by 'Vette standards) and not very powerful (by the standards of my tumble dryer). Probably cheaper to service though. They cheated if memory serves, and dubbed the soundtrack.

Oooops, looks like i'll be in the minority on this one!
There are very few cool Ferrari's and although this is always noted as being one I disagree.

Doesn't mean I don't want one though

Cool, but not sub zero.

For me the engine is in the wrong place for a Ferrari, and it lost out in coolness through no fault of its own when parts of the design were copied onto the Rover SD1

My thoughts exactly, apart from the engine positioning comment

Check the swage lines on the doors, and the shape of the front lights/indicators.

I fail to see why Rover mimicking a couple of features detract from the original.
