Personally I like how they've evolved the corporate face but I'm underwhelmed by the treatment of the rest of the car, it just doesn't look like a huge leap forward design wise from the e9x series cars. I'm sure it's very capable though.

Seriously uncool. Far too common to be anything but IMO.

That doesn't mean they aren't good cars btw before I get accused of BMW-bashing. They are just a bit of a default, safe, corporate middle manager kind of choice and every fleet is awash with them so they are anything but exclusive.

There can only be one version of any 3 series that could ever be considered cool and it begins with M

Since this isnt an M3, its uncool

Not a BAD looker though. Seen worse

Clue to popularity; with 300 per month lease you can get one of these with a 25730 list price or a Giulietta with a list price of 21711 to show your friends and neighbours.

Been chased up the road by a few of these things. Good car, dodgy styling, poor image so uncool.

Never thought much of the 3-series (M excepted) - and certainly never in terms of - it's a repmobile that attracts the wrong kind of women.

Meh. The 3 Series today is what the Mondeo was 15 years ago. It's ok, probably capable, but very beige and says an awful lot about the person driving it.

Unless it's the M (or in Mondeo speak, the ST220 )

Now I'm not going back on my view but.......

One of my neighbours is a BMW salesman and usually comes in in a 3-series of some sort. I have to say that the car does have some presence on seriously big rolling stock and the front end looks better in the metal. Like every 3-series of the last 10 years it looks ****e on the standard tiny wheels (but is probably a whole lot nicer to drive).

What's going on with that finish on the door-pulls, dash and centre console - looks like it's been left soaking in the bathtub a bit too long
