Had a look at one, and I think the missus quite liked it, but no auto option, so she lost interest!

"Let's see how big we can make the headlights."
"Is that big enough?"
"No, keep going.." =|

There should be a new category to vote for - Neither cool nor uncool.

There is nothing wrong with this vehicle, but that is all it is, a vehicle. It is a small city car and might well work as such quite well. I don't need one so will not be looking at one soon. Having said that, these little city cars are often very basic inside. I'm not sure why manufacturers think that they should be? Surely the defining USP here is size not necessarily price? Why wouldn't I want the stuff I get in my saloon as standard (BT, USB, satnav, good plastics, etc...) in a car that just happens to be smaller?

It's a cheap, inoffensive thing that does an honest enough job for people who want that kind of appliance but it is seriously uncool.

Inoffensive little car that looks marginally better than most other city sector cars

Another fence-sitter i suspect. Cool to some, uncool to petrolheads

It's not cool but it's not meant to be. It's meant to be a run-about that's cheap to run about in. I'm sure that 99,9% of people who buy one will love it.

Some will go for the slightly angled cross regardless, to compliment the fish on the back perhaps?

The general view in this area is they are quite popular as a 'shopper hopper' and the girlies and ladies favour them mainly for this reason, plus they are fairly cost effective? :
