Morgan 3 Wheeler

An air-cooled engine in the front and one wheel in the back. Is it cool?

So cool . I did not understand at first when I saw it at its first Geneva motor show. But next time it was at Goodwood , talking to the man from Morgan it all started to make its own sense; it's for driving from its mews garage to get the newspaper early on a Sunday .

Remembering some of the originals parked in the street where we lived post WWII, with Matchless, J.A.P engines iirc, yes it's good to see some historic transport revived I think.

Certainly real fresh air motoring with unpredictable road holding?

I really can't decide on this one. I absolutely love it and, if I win the Euromillions, I'll be slapping down a deposit on one, but I don't know if it's cool.

Jap ? No it's S&S The X-Wedge® motorcycle engine by S&S Cycle
They did consider co/brand with HarleyDavidson ,I believe . Wouldn't have worked IMHO .

Sub zero. I've always wanted one for as long as I can remember - even looked at building a replica kit but never got round to it as I haven't got space to keep it. Fair weather motoring for me so I'd need a daily runner as well.

Mad. Impractical. Uncomfortable. Pre-war styling. Stupid. Eccentric.

Obviously cool!

Definitely Cool. An expensive toy now though.
Like Zulu I can remember one as daily transport for one of my primary teachers in the late sixties in Scotland. I got a ride to scholl once and would love one.
Like riding a motocycle in a seat...

Not cool. Absolutely nothing wrong with it, I'm sure, and an old one would be cool. Just not this.

Perhaps if VW buys Morgan and they make an Audi ,a VW , a Seat and Skoda , then you might chose the latter?

Not cool because it is too self consciously retro with the design and paint job - but I would love to have one in the garage to blast around the countryside on a hot afternoon like today. In short; no but yes.

Decided it's cool. I reckon that pretty much everyone you come across would fancy being taken for a spin in it and they would probably giggle like a child throughout.

Office Chair.

Generally (a few trikes excluded) things with three wheels are just uncool. So is this.
