Really impressive car brimming with great detail design. Destined to depreciate like .......

It's an impressive looking bit of kit, sat in one last week. As with all big frogs though it will depreciate like a stone.

Office Chair.

It's a Citroen, French and therefore sheite. That of course does not make it uncool but I just hate them passionately so it gets seriously uncool.

It is cool as. Nothing wrong with liking other marques and the DS line is a classy little lineup.

Look at the way the waistline rises randomly just after the rear doors, so that you can have a Lamborghini-like rear window area. And you know every one sold will be a FWD diesel auto.
The only reason it doesn't get seriously uncool is because you could actually do worse - a Peugeot 4007.

I'm 50/50 on this one. It's not a Golf clone so that's fairly cool but it's a bit fussy and "look at me" in certain aspects of the design which isn't really cool. Depreciation is irrelevant, as is potential reiability IMHO so I'm just coming down in favour of cool but it would barely register in the all-time cool list - if that makes sense.

Uncool, without a shadow of a doubt, slightly better than a DS4, has anyone driven one ?

Cool. DS3 > DS4 > DS5. The higher number, the worse car...

I can't explain why I find big Citroens cool but I do.

Love it. Quirky, innovative design, unique. The fact it looks both futuristic and like nothing else on the road seals the deal for me. Would I have one - you bet!!

alfa romeo brera

thinking of trading in my alfa for one!

OK, I'm about to get hung on this forum I suspect. I've had a few alfa's, mito, brera and now a Giulietta. Personally I think the big citroen is a fantastic car. Had a sit in one the other day and the interior quality is superb. I hate to say it compared to the G (whose interior quality is awful beyond words) its interior quality is in another league (although its fair to say its in a slightly higher price bracket). French cars have always had a bad rep, but I suspect this Citroen will be a step forward. The diesel engine is also smoother than the G, which although quick off the mark (I've got the 170) is pretty rough sounding. I'd give this French car the thumbs up, and its undoubtedly cool. I've not seen anything quite so bold in this segment and for that you have to give them some credit. Its the first french car i'm seriously considering (used of course -I'm not mental enough to buy one new!)

Mangos have started doing Citroens and I have seen a couple of these there now. Interiors really nice and I think it's cool. Might even be tempted to get an 18 month old one next year which has hopefully depreciated like hell!
