Alfa Romeo Giulietta

It could be considered a tribute to another Alfa Romeo from the 1950's with the same name. Is it cool?

It looks like an Astra from the back and it could be anything from the inside were it not for the AR badge on the steering wheel

But it is a good thing to drive and even if it is only small, there is a hint of Alfa about the driving experience

Cool, just

I carnt see any similar aspects to the astra. Compare the pictures carefully, nothing is the same. should have gone to spec-savers. (well, maybe the colour is)

OK, I'm biased

BUT, when I'm driving along the motorway, looking for other Giuliettas, you have to get close before you realise that the one you just spotted is either a Seat Leon or an Astra. It's not different enough to be considered cool just on looks, that monicker can only be applied from behind the wheel.

Cool? Just! Hot? Oh yes! especially as I just got the call from the bodyshop and am now waiting for the other half to pick me up so I can go get my baby back! The sun is shining and I'm grinning like a loon already

Anonymous for an Alfa but cool, just, on account of the name.

Still a bit of a Munter from the front, hence why 99% of the marketing shots are from the side/rear aspect

I like the back in the dark, I'm less keen on the front and think it's shame we've moved away from the six headlamp look. Cool in the context of modern hatchbacks, not cool compared to about 500 other cars I can think of.

+1 on the headlight comments.

Cool, 'cause it's the only car I got to drive up the Hill Run, looks are just cool and I liked the interior at the time (haven't really looked inside one since)

*ok, this version isn't as nice inside as the one I drove... but still stays cool

I think ill follow suit here, its cool because of the badge. I don't really like the front, however i love the rear. The interior isn't Alfaish enough for me, and as for the engine, in a petrol I'm more of a naturally aspirated man then turbo/supercharged fan.

Id rather it over a Golf or 1-Series though, as it does look striking on the road.

Giordano ,the interior is not Alfa enough ? What would you consider a definitive Alfa inside? I find it reminiscent of the Duetto era and 1750 Berlina , without the wood of the latter .

I'm with you on the interior, I sat in one on at the launch at Goodwood and it felt just like I was sitting in the Grande Punto I had at the time.

The dash board is a little too flat, the seat is a bit too high, and the driving postion feels like your sitting on it not in it

Hard to describe the feeling, I'm used to a slightly claustraphobic feeling in an Alfa and I didn't get that in the Giulietta.

I might be able to afford a 4c second hand in a few years

Like the Mito it has grown on me. It has an Alfa badge therefore it at least has to be cool.
FTR[ecord] Alfa Romeo I truly believe to be the coolest marque on the planet.

My thoughts?

It's OK, I guess.
It didn't make me go Wow as the 156 did when I first saw one.
It didn't make me go Wow as the GT did when I first saw one.
It's a hatch.
It's not so special.

It looks vaguely like an Opel (which is a compliment to Opel, really).
Only the Cloverleaf looks good enough to want to have one

I voted cool for brand loyalty...

I am not a fan of the looks I am afraid.

So that would make it uncool, however it is an Alfa and that is a plus point.

That makes it neither cool or uncool, but I can't vote for that.

Its my opinion, and its the truth. It doesnt surrouned you like the 147, 156, GT and 159/Brera did, like a cockpit. The plastic materials are all over the place and as others have mentioned it is rather flat.

Saluti, Giordano.
