Lamborghini Reventón

Only 21 were made, 20 to be sold to the public and one to be kept in the Lamborghini Museum. Based on the Murciélago LP640, it was styled to look like the very "fastest airplanes". When it was released, it cost one million Euros.

Aspiration: Natural
Power: 650 bhp (484.7 kW) @ 8,000 rpm

Configuration: Mid-engined, all-wheel drive
Weight: 1,665 kilo (3,671 lbs)
0 - 100 km/h (0 - 62 mph): 3.4 seconds
Top speed: 340 km/h (211.3 mph)

It's a Lamborghini.....it has to be sub zero.....although the air vents in front of the rear wheels look a bit OTT..........but if Lamborghini engineers think they are needed who am I to disagree.......

If it's styled like the fastest airplanes what's that Tornado in shot for?

Ridiculous and uncool for me, Ant.

Supercars aren't really cool. This sort is. Limited numbers + performance push it into sub territory.

And it looks evil enough to be sub zer.

Supercars aren't cool. However, I think that is probably the least uncool of all the supercars.

It looks good from the rear, and I like the early arcade game thing they've got going on with the instruments and the rear lights.. But because it's a limited run car and HEAPS more expensive than a matt grey Murcielago, uncool.

Sub zero, it just looks evil in a good way. If that was coming up behind you you would move out its way.

Sub zero for me.

A lot of people thought Lamborghini would lose their edge after being taken over by Audi. This car proves that the eye-swivelling lunacy is alive and well at S'ant Agata.

And for that, I am most grateful.

I'd be a bit annoyed if I paid a million for this 'limited edition' then realised they have made a normal production car thats near enough identical to it a few months later...

Steve was complaining the other day about all newish Astons looking the same, but they're a positive rainbow of styling compared to Lambos.
