"....By Renault"

The ruggedised Stepway version looks like a cheap way
to get (faux) AWD transport. Bit like the old Lada Niva.
Not as cool though. (Or with 4x4.)

Cheers Ant.

They are €6690 here.

Roll on the "Duster"

I can remember the original Dacia in the Uk, using Renault 12 tooling, the trim!! Do you remember the trim!! Attached to the car with self tapping screws!! If that was not bad enough, the screws rusted, badly.

Come on.....
for 5.5 grand and a 3 year warranty, old people will buy them in there thousands.
And then back street dealers will be full of them, like the old Suzuki swift and the Daiwoo Matiz.

Cool car

Cheap top buy(brand new->5000E), cheap to run, it isn't a car for showing off, it's a simple car for going from A to B...

Exactly, just because Clarkson slags a car off in his scripted ego massaging programme, let's not dismiss something that easily.

If you don't like it,don't buy it! And on that bomdshell...........

i want to say cool because it's unpretentious. but that's not enough to make it cool. If it was a wee bit more chic, then maybe it would be cool.

I would have understood this thread more if it had started on April 1st.
As it is a shopping car can only be cool to families on a tight budget and never in the normally accepted sense.

Not because it's bad, but because it's bland.
