Spyker C8 Aileron Spyder

Dutch cars aren't common, and that fact makes this already special car even more so. This Aileron evolution has a larger wheelbase than the original C8. It's also made by hand and has plenty of attention to detail. A handcrafted vehicle. It will go into production in the first half of 2010.

Engine: Audi 90º V8

Aspiration: Naturally aspirated
Power: 400 bhp (298 kW) @ 3,400 rpm (rpm figure unconfirmed)
Torque: 354 lb·ft @ 3,400 rpm
Configuration: Mid-engined, rear-wheel drive
0 - 60 mph: 4.5 seconds
Top speed: 187 mph (300 km/h)

Original, rare, exclusive, well made... beautiful... Subzero from me.

This is the right metal wrapping for Audis 4.2 V8!

Very unusually for something so fast, I'd say it was cool. It's bespoke, rare and interesting and is more likely to provoke a "Wassat?" response than a "******!" response.

It scrapes into 'cool' because of what it is, but will be mainly driven by combover sporting, rollneck wearing , perma-tanned middle agers, with their internet bought girlfriend in the passenger seat.

So it can never make it to sub zero.

This man just "knows" stuff!

It is a lurid, tacky, over-styled piece of fluff.

I really don't like the styling one bit - it's very fussy so for me it could never be sub-zer, and the more I think about it, the more I think it isn't even cool, despite its performance.

The C8 looked good, nicely proportion and went like a stabbed rat, this looked like it has been through the mangle and has been stretched....

uncool unfortunately

Stunning interior, hideous exterior with way too many scoops and vents. Less is more!

Crazy car, crazy Spyker CEO taking over Saab, but soooo cool!
By the way, they will be produced in the UK starting this year.
