Sub zero for me. Especially in the famed Alitalia works GpIV guise. I'm amazed here's no pic of one in those colours!

Brilliantly wild and a success on tarmac, loose and even (IIRC) the East African Safari rally.

Awesome thing.

Perfect in an Italian imperfect way and hence sub sub-zero
Plus the widest door pockets and most Heath Robinson front windows in supercar-dom

Sub zero.

Other than an Alpine A110 there is no better looking rally car.

Awesome piece of kit, undeniably, but not sub-zero.

You would arrive at your very exclusive dinner and date looking like a huge blobby sweaty thing, with your ears ringing and a hunched back. And everyone would ask you why your car is such a hideous colour.

It makes cool on it's performance and relative rarity alone, but it can't go any further than that.

Totally subzero! Quite funny, yesterday I spoke to a guy who has actually driven one. He said that he had to pray in every corner. Only a handful of people actually mastered the car. The length of wheelbase is scary

Bertone design. Ferrari Dino engine. Nothing more and nothing less than sub zero.

Actually, I didn't post any images of the Alitalia Stratos due to the fact that it's not exactly the same car as the roadgoing version that the poll is about. I was tempted to, though.

But, I'd gladly do another poll about the GpIV version.

Does it show that I like this car a lot??

In which case shouldn't the word "Stradale" appear in its name? I'm not 100% (and I'm too tired to check!) but I did think all road going versions were Stratos HF Stradales.

Yes! Or at least include the storming rally cars too as they are more drool-worthy!

Well, I didn't find any info about a Stradale version, just the HF ones and that included both the road and the rally versions.

That's a tough one.

It looks completely insane like a spaceship which is cool.

But then it's a race car for the road and that never really works and is uncool.

But then they are always in really bright 70s colours which I like.

But HST is right about what it would be like in action.

Cool but not sub-zero I think.

Utterly utterly sub-zero like no other car in this poll lounge.

But then I'm biased...

Your wrong mate, you have not used 'utterly' enough, i would have said at least another 4 or 5
and then a few 'amazings' and stunnings.
Beyond belief in the cool stakes, and as Jim said earlier in works colours.......................

Sub sub sub zero! I can still replay the mental picture of a brace of Stratos being driven, with surgical accuracy, around a stage on the Thousand Lakes Rally Finland. I think the drivers were Bjorn Waldegaard and Marku Alen. Auto pornography.
