Test drove one of those and gotta say there awsome... Way better than the likes of the S2000 and Rx8- R3 cant wait till the new 370Z comes out
Me too - in the end when it came down to it, I chose my GT over the 350z. Mainly for practical reasons... better to have 2+2 than 2 and better sized boot. (Am I admitting I bought an Alfa with my head over heart!).
It's not a sports car; it's a GT with limite luggage capacity.
The spec given by Ant is from the early model.
It's something of a triumph of styling over function.
I drove the latest engine (2007-2008), which is:
VQ35HR 3.5 L (210 cu in) V6
306 bhp (228 kW) at 6,800 rpm
268 ft·lbf (363 N·m) at 4,800 rpm
It was an amazing drive and I was tempted to get the roadster too. I drove bouth coupe and roadster - it was a gem to drive and felt amazing. But the really low fuel economy, higher cost and small boot space put me off in the end. Though I flipped back and forth a few times this time last year when I was looking to buy.
I agree that Alfas are more beautiful, but I have to say that after driving them, 350zs are super cool. A real driver's car - you feel in total control despite the power at your fingertips.
As Alfa156Male said, I can't wait for the 370z to come out either. It would definitely be worth a test drive.
