Re: Volkswagen Phaeton W12

i dont really see the point of a £60k VW. why would people go from an S-Class, 7 Series or even an A8 into a VW?

uncool

Wouldn't mind wafting about in one for a bit. It's a nice car but not cool.

Too easily confused with a fat Passat

Seriously uncool.

A very expensive, big Passat.

Dull as a very dull thing although I guess it would get your pulse quickened as you checked on its depreciation.

It's probably a cracking car but who the hell would spend £60,000 on a big Passat?

Seriously uncool, but it served its purpose - proving the Bentley oily bits.

It could be any car by any maker...perfectly good at what it does, totally unremarkable, bland and well anything but cool....

Re: Volkswagen Phaeton W12

A chap at my golf club has one. It had 18000 miles on it and he got it for around £10k. Nice looking car in black but not as pretty as an Alfa of course

Re: Volkswagen Phaeton W12

I think its cool.....nearly sub zero.

In black its understated and muscular. Its anonymous and well proportioned. Germanically well engineered and tasteful

(takes medication)

I don't like it.

Saw one of these not long ago. My initial thought was 'The new Passats got bigger' Wasn't until I saw the badge that I realised what it was.
