Ford Thunderbird

Today we have a resurrected Ford model that was produced from 2002 to 2005. There was even a special 6-wheel version built for the Thunderbirds movie, and it was painted in sickly pink.

Oh, and BTW, 34K.

Engine: 90º V8
Displacement: 3,934 cc
Aspiration: Natural
Drive: RWD
Power: 252 bhp @ 6,100 rpm
Torque: 266 lb·ft @ 4,300 rpm
Weight: 1,712 kg (3,774 lbs)

That is horrible.

I see no one who voted for cool has owned up to it yet.

I thought they looked okay out on the open road.

One of the first of the retro look models iirc.

Can't see much to commend this thing. Styling looks like it's by Daihatsu.

Re: Ford Thunderbird

Thought we had done this one 'afore My mistake. Only 'T' bird was back in the fifties, (sixties?) with sequential rear indicator lights.

That version was sub zero.

Partly because there was not a lot around like it, except perhaps the odd cadillac.

Re: Ford Thunderbird

Right on Symonh : In the days when some Brit. Yank Tank fans had Galaxies, Mercury Commuters,Packards and the like, that were longer than the width of their rented council houses.

One of my favs was a Presidential Cadillac, although that commutor that we had in for work, Ex. King Fisal's, was a jaw dropper too.I guess that's why I wouldn't mind slagging around in a 300C, if I had the spondulas to feed the beast?
