Ford F350

An oddity in this forum. I think a lot of you will never see one in the flesh metal, but here it is still. It's big, it's butch, it's powerful and very American.

A quick note, pickups are sold in plenty of configurations, that's why the vehicles in the pictures differ from one another.

Plus, since the specifications are all over the map, I'm providing links to the Ford page for you to check them out, if you want.

SuperDuty Specs

You can check out everything you want about them under each tab. Have fun!

Re: Ford F350

A pick-up should just be a tool to do a job. You can make them look good (see Mitsubishi Warrior) etc, but the American style ones look horrible. That goes for the Dodge Ram as well, hideous looking thing

Seriously uncool.

Re: Ford F350

that is big and bad but a yank tank can be nice, a chap that used to drink in my pub rode a big ass harley and wanted a 4 wheel to match, bought a ford f150 lightning with 22" wheels, sounded amazing especially with the unsilenced side exit pipes

That is one wide car, just look at the interior between the seats.

I think it's OK for that kind of thing but it will never be cool.

Re: Ford F350

I've seen a few in the flesh whilst on holiday in the states. And they're pretty cool, IN THAT ENVIRONMENT.

As soon as you put one on the British roads it becomes ridiculous.

When size really isn't everything
I guess it must be seen in it's native country. One of those "trucks" trying to navigate the weedy European roads inevitably makes the driver look like a bit of a jerk.

On a big open freeway in the US of A?
I'd take a classic muscle car anyday

Uncool.

Re: Ford F350

I have always wanted one of these ever since watching Mel Gibson's Riggs pull down Joss Ackland's, 'diplomatic immunity', house on stilts.

Has there ever been a more icon figure of strength and masculinity?

Owning one of these makes you a man's man. A tough guy. A man that says, 'upset me and i will pull over your house.'

Rock on.

Haven't you seen the film, BF? He literally pulls a house down a hillside with it.

Who wouldn't want one? How useful would that be?

But what if you had a house that needed pulling down? Just imagine that.

Re: Ford F350

But then yank houses are made of sticks... They never quite got the message behind 'The Three Little Piggies'.

And I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll..... drive down the hill with my big cowboy truck!!!

I'm amazed it's got some Cool and Sub Zero votes.

After all, it's way cooler than an X3.

I'm in agreement with Pud. A pickup is a tool, the type of person who buys this pickup is a tool.

On our roads in the UK, this type of vehicle will appeal to bullies who have small a small penis
