Re: Lamborghini Miura SV

that loud thunk you just heard was my jaw hitting the table.

There is no car more beautiful, or sensual than the Miura. With every luscious curve, it both oozes and drips with desirability. It's pretty without being sissy, masculine without being macho...and the way the light trips over devine curves, is just delicious. There's a fragile vulnerability to it, too...and that makes it even more beguiling.

I love the Miura

Re: Lamborghini Miura SV

but...is the SV better looking than the non SV-Miuras, which are arguably even prettier? (the Miura trashed in the Italian Job was not an SV).

Discuss

Re: Lamborghini Miura SV

visually, as above matey.

technically, i think the SV has more hp, and the gearbox had its own oil (not shared with the engine, IIRC)

Watching the Miura climb that mountain road with Matt Monroe singing On Days Like These at the start of the Italian job is one of my all time favorite film clips. The Miura is beyond the scope of any cool wall.

Re: Lamborghini Miura SV

I think this could be the only one i voted sub zero. It cant be anything else. Only thing that makes me want to change my mind is i think Jay Kay owns one, and he's a ***.

i'm witn you 100% there, boss. Pure blue sky, lush green trees, snow capped mountains, red paint applied to an evocative body, that growling engine...those scenes encapsulate and combine what God made beautiful, and what man made beautiful. Exquisite, captivating images.
