Chevrolet Trailblazer

We know it's big and squashes cars that don't move out of its ways. It drinks more petrol than fish drink water* and has a big attitude ...

... but is it cool?

*I know fish don't drink water per se, allow me a simile

Yeah, kinda

It's just your typical, "I'm an American, I've got a bigger vehicle than you, so get the f*** out of my way" run-a-round....

So seriously uncool it should be sent to the scrapyard direct from factory.

Re: Chevrolet Trailblazer

I've got to be honest, I like the Trailbrazer, not so much because of its qualities as a car, but because in an age of overly inflated petrol, it makes a point for the motorists and gives the finger to the eco-talibans

Still uncool though (sorry Ant )

(Not aimed at you Biggie) - If you are stupid enough to buy this vehicle you'll be more than stupid enough to keep pumping in all the fuel (read: look how thin your wallet is getting!!!) into it.

Good for trekking across the US.
But I'd get an Explorer or Expedition in preference.

Is it cool? Nah.

I'd rather get myself a nice Harley or a Goldwing to go across the States in and sleep in a tent () than be seen dead (or a live) in that coffin

With those roads!?!

And you can't really explore on a huge
lumbering bike. (A huge lumbering SUV,
on the other hand, will go almost anywhere.)

Tents? Bah, what are motels for?

If you want to do that with an Amerkin truhk, go the whole way and drive yerself a Dodge Ram (attached).
Chevy Trailblazer has nothing to recommend it, not even badass attitude or gangsta stylez. If you drive it, everyone will hate you and rightly so. Seriously uncool.

The Trailblazer could never be described as cool but I'm sure it's a very effective work horse.

Re: Chevrolet Trailblazer

With apologies to Ant...

This is so far below seriously uncool as to warrant a new classification.

Sure, it may well do a job and do it reasonably well, but oh Lordy, is it ever deeply, obtrusively and horrendously uncool. ...and it is bland bordering on downright ugly even by disgusting SUV "style" standards.

Re: Chevrolet Trailblazer

They're cheap junky SUV's with the usual big V8 engine - American's seem to like them but I'm not sure that anyone else does.

Here they get used as cheap run around cars - very uncool

If you want a powerful SUV look at the new Jeep SRT8 (6.1 Hemi, 420 bhp, on-demand 4WD and 0-60 in less than 5 seconds)

That, Hammy, has just landed you in my "Blackest of blacks" list.

And yes, for all of you that don't know it, I own a Trailblazer, and I like it, a lot. That is my Yank Tank.
