Re: Honda Beat

It's a nice enough little thing, inoffensive and all that.

But it's not old enough to be a classic and it's too small as a sports car to be cool say in the same way as an original Fiat 500 is cool. To cap that, the styling is a bit anaemic too.

So, sorry, but I vote uncool.

Re: Honda Beat

I'd say it's cool strictly from a rarity POV, starting to look a little dated now, absoluely loved em when they first came out in Japan.

Re: Honda Beat

I think if you are 16 and this is your first car, it's darn cool

But most 16 year olds wouldn't want to be seen in one so can't help but vote uncool

Re: Honda Beat

With BF on that account. It's cool for young girls. I'd be happy for one of me daughters to drive around in one of them

Re: Honda Beat

It's great as most Ks are.

But is it cool?

I'm not sure.

Beats a Smart hands down.

I'll put cool, but it's verging on uncool.

Re: Honda Beat

Dont know if this perticular one had a problem but i drove one of those last year and for a small car it had steering like a tank!!

In terms of cool keep it clean and tastefull and yeh i guess its cool in a unique kind of way....always going to be known as a girls car mind...

Re: Honda Beat

Small, convertible and lacks power. Ergo it is a car for a girl or an uber-camp fella.

Not cool

Re: Honda Beat

cool..considered one for a while..but they are that rarest of things...a honda with reliability issues...i dont go along with all this girls car/boys car stuff..drive what you like, when you like, responsibly...and enjoy the smiles per gallon.....plough yer own furrow...

Re: Honda Beat

Cool because they are rare and impossibly tiny. I don't think I would buy one though as its a bit girly for my taste.

Quirky? Yes.
Original? Mostly.
Finnicky? Probably.
Fresh? Very.
Powerful? Quite the opposite.
Cool?

Park it next to a CRX, then you will realise how uncool it is.

Re: Honda Beat

They are very rare, certainly old enough to be a classic. They sound like a car with a lot more power, especially when revving up towards the 9 grand red line. Mid engined rear wheel drive and lsd. What does a car need to do to be cool? It helps if it looks like ours I suppose.

I nominated this here cause I wouldn't mind buying one as a runabout.

Diminutive, quirky and fun.

Cool
