I think its seriously cool, if it had a alfa badge on it would have been sub zero

Re: Fiat Coupe'

Was seriously considering one as my "fun" car prior to getting the Gtv.
A few days ago I saw the very same car parked up as I was on my way home. I pulled in and had another look, and you know what? I am so glad I passed on it and waited for the Gtv.

Re: Fiat Coupe'

It's the only serious alternative to a 3.0 GTV. They have to be the best performance car available at their current prices. Turbo engine makes them quick and sounds fabulous at high revs. Not a GTV but still sub zero.

Re: Fiat Coupe'

i like them alot, in good condition they still look like very exclusive sports cars.

i think its the one fiat they should have made through alfa - a 3l v6 would be cooler than the 2l turbo

Re: Fiat Coupe'

Cool. Just.

But not the shabby low rent examples in the process of dropping through the system en route to the not so tender attentions of the scrap yard.

A definite modern classic in the making.

In another 5-6 years the few über-mint examples left will be super cool.

Sub-zero when it came out.

Warmed slightly with time, but still cool now.

PS Big Foot: Great choice for pic. My favourite colour for it followed by yellow.

Re: Fiat Coupe'

Fabulous, fabulous car. Underestimated massively by many.
Best in Black.
Has that 'special' feeling that put it in the same bracket as a sporty Alfa.

Unfortunately the piccy BF has chosen is an older model. Both the alloys and the lack of body coloured sills make the shape look a lot more dated than it really is.
If you find a PLUS, LE or late 6 speed model they still look contemporary - and a hell of a lot better than most of the Euro boxes which would be their competitors were they in production today.

Re: Fiat Coupe'

There is no need to ask me.. It doesn't look quite as good as a GTV IMO, but overall I would say that the 20VT is a better car than the GTV V6.
It should have been badged an Alfa...

However there are some rough ones about which tarnish the image somewhat, and specialists tend to over price them.

Re: Fiat Coupe'

Proportions are a bit off, and they're not particularly interesting to look at.
don't turn heads as much as their opposition does, and a big part of the appeal of any sports coupe is the head turnability (did i just make that word up?)

Uncool.

Good car but questionable styling spoils the packeage, so with regret: uncool.

Re: Fiat Coupe'

cool when they were new, shocking image now.

made the GTV look bland, and they didnt let the tea boy design the rear end as alfa did with the gtv.

far more of a 'baby ferrari' than the gtv ever was. although i do chuckle when any car is described as a baby ferrari

before i got into alfas i always wanted a coupe over a gtv although now id have the gtv(v6 engine of course), its aged better and its got a bit more class than the coupe.
