Jaguar XF

Whether you think this is Jaguar's best effort to revive its brand or yet another Mondeo rip off, the question is: is this car cool?

Re: Jaguar XF

I think its a cool car - a good first attempt at dragging the marque into is millenium.

Seen a few around here, and I have to say they look good in the flesh, so to speak, imo.:

I don't like it at all. Much prefer the XK and XKR.

I do have it bad though for the XJS, I absolutely adore it but most people think it's a bag of old s**t,

Re: Jaguar XF

I had the brochure sent through from Jaguar and they keep bugging me to go test drive one, I think it still looks a bit old man despite the innovation.

The XJS is awful IMO it was supposed to replace the E-type but is is exceptionally ugly.. I do like the XJ series though (Especially the supercharged variants), that was the last real Jaguar, but didn't suffer too many reliablity and rust issues like the XJ40.

As for the XF its just a car, I would say neither cool or uncool but there is no option for that. So uncool it is..

Re: Jaguar XF

Seen a couple this morning, one on a nice wide access drive, so perhaps the stockbrokers wives like them to compliment the Bentley. Well they were always termed officially Bentley's Second,as I mentioned before, and that's a fact!!:

Re: Jaguar XF

When they decided to bring the marque up-to-date they went about it all wrong. It's no secret that I was disappointed in the Jag I had for three months last year, The ride was a bit too soft, the handling was terrible and there was no emotion, but the Jaguar had it's own look and style (as do Alfas). But no more, they've panel beaten the soul out of it for me. Seriously Uncool

Is it a Volvo or a Ford? 'Cause, it ain't no Jag
