Re: Mgf/tf

Sorry, uncool. Seany's missis is right - they are everywhere. The build quality was rough at best. I test drove one a few years back (scared the salesman to death!!) and it drove well, but it just didn't have "IT"

Re: Mgf/tf

I test drove one many years ago and it was ok but not as good as the MX5 to drive.

I very rarely see and Alfa spider no matter what age - I can drive 20 miles to work and I will see at least 3 MG's and MX5's

Production made sports car to suit the majority, who require all of the modern day saloon car comforts, so never rated as a true sports car anyway, imb.:

They're Rovers. Just as UNcool

masquerading as MGs.

Re: Mgf/tf

Re: Mgf/tf

I was considering getting one recently, but they don't give out the image I want,

I think they are cool though.

The 1.8 VVC has 145BHP and can clock a 7 second 0-60 with a top speed of 130MPH or so. Not bad in my books, thats the same 0-60 as a BMW Z3 2.8, and it has a whole litre less.

Just watch out for those head gaskets,

MGTF at around £7K or spend a bit more and get an Elise - hard choice - not - Elise all day every day.

Re: Mgf/tf

Well its not right - purple car with cream leather seats.

You may just get away with this colour combo in a Sagaris but not an MGF.
