Re: Alfa Romeo 155

It appears I'm in agreement with you two august fellows. Cool but only just.

I think it is just moving into coolness due to its now relative rarity so when you do see one, it is usually a smart one, and it's boxy styling is now quite rakish and seems more in tune with current design trends than was the case a few years back when bulbous ruled.

Cool.

Nah you want the Q4

Sub zero from me of course

You hardly see them about. The enthusiasts are a great bunch and really help keep what remain on the road. They have their faults but value for money is fantastic.

Re: Alfa Romeo 155

The 155 is the car that first got me interested in Alfa Romeo when they entered and won the BTCC in 1994.

I understand you view, but VfM is definitely not a coolness factor.

Re: Alfa Romeo 155

After NAD in 2006 when I travelled in and parked with over 30 155s I 'won' an eBay auction for a Proteo red 2.0 Sportpack with anthracite Speedlines, but sadly I didn't meet the reserve price and the deal fell through.

Re: Alfa Romeo 155

I want a 155 Q4... in fact I want a lot of cars, but I'm a poor student and have no money - and nowhere to put one.

Cool though

I'm the same! Looking at my credit card bills, I'm spending £250 a MONTH on fuel!

Considering I only earn £250 a month that's a hell of a lot of money

These thirsty V6's 'eh? I can only imagine a 155 Q4 suitably turbo'd is a lot worse

Re: Alfa Romeo 155

It was probably "cool" when it came out but today, it's definitely sub-zero

Cool, but only in a retro kind of way.

Cars designed solely with a pencil and ruler are very seldom pretty

I have never really liked the 155, it looks quite old fashioned now as well.

Uncool.

And she has a point....it looks that bland.

Sorry, dynamically cool but completely uninspiring in the looks dept. Just looked so ordinary at the time....

Many an Alfa will gain cool wall status, this shouldn't be one.....

Please don't take it personally...
